Baby Elephant Named Zhuang Zhuang Cries For 5 Hours After His Mom Tries to Kill Him and He Has to be Separated from her to save his life in China.

An Elephant in China named Zhuang Zhuang was born at Shendiashan Wild Animal Natural Reserve, but his mother rejected him and tried to kill him after being in her womb for 22 months.

To save the poor baby elephants life, staff the reserve had to separate him from his mother. Elephants are known for having a very strong bond with their mothers, due to how long they stay in the womb. Even though his mother tried to kill him, the baby elephant had no understanding of what was happening because Elephants are born blind, and only know their mother by touch and smell.

When the staff separated him, and he no longer sensed his mothers presence, the baby Elephant cried massive tears for 5 hours straight, before falling asleep.

The poor fellow is living in world where the one thing he wants most, is also the most dangerous thing he could want. It’s one of the saddest stories in the animal world today. Lets hope and pray that one day he will be able to safely see his mom again.
