In Chance the Rapper’s manager album review of “The Big Day” light was shed on the allegedly unusual process of creating the album. The review starts off criticizing Chance the Rapper for starting work on the album in February of 2019, giving him only about 4 months to complete the album even though he had major plans like a wedding. He claims Chance the Rapper’s “creative process” was thrown off by the timeline, which called for a July 2019 release date.

Things got disrespectful when Corcoran accused Chance the Rapper of having undisciplined unproductive studio sessions. He claims Chance the Rapper procrastinated with lazy efforts towards writing and recording “The Big Day” album. Lastly he said the finished product was “freestyle driven” below average album.
