Emoni Bates has been named Gatorade National Player of the Year becoming the first sophomore ever to win the award. Emoni Bates finished the season averaging 28.7points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.8 assists.

Back in February Emoni Bates made national headlines after scoring 62 points and 21 rebounds in one game. No one has ever seen a sophomore player this dominate. Even Lebron James wasn’t this dominate as a sophomore.

Lets hope he continues on this path of making history, and becomes an NBA player one day. Who knows, maybe he will start his own shoe company like BBB.
