Killer Mike’s Barbershop won’t be open when businesses in Georgia begin welcoming back customers on Friday. In an interview with TMZ, Killer Mike said he will not re-open his barbershop despite the Governor ending the “shelter in place” rules.
Killer Mike explained that he didn’t feel comfortable opening his business, emphasizing the disproportionate impact coronavirus COVID-19 has had on the black community in his area. Killer Mike does not want to endanger people already vulnerable to the impacts of the virus. He didn’t state when his barbershop would open, but said it would be a long time.
For those that were expecting to get a Killer Mike fresh cut on Friday for the first time in months, you may be waiting until later this year.
