Lavar Ball Says Gelo Ball Will Lead the League in Scoring and Be Better than Zion Williamson in Viral Video Interview.
Lavar Ball claims that within 3 years Gelo Ball will lead the NBA scoring and be a better player than Zion Williamson. His claims was met with backlash, but there are facts that support Lavar Ball statement about Gelo Ball being scoring champion.
In high school Liangelo Ball averaged 34 ppg on 50% shooting, and had way more polished game than Zion. Gelo didn’t play in college, but went to Lithuania to play in a much harder league. While in Lithuania Gelo average around 18 ppg and led the league in three pointers made and attempted while shooting over 50% from three. When you think about the current NBA, Gelo’s style of play is perfectly suited for it. It’s not crazy to think that he would be a better scorer than Zion who basically scores off wide open dunks and layups for 85% of his points, and lead the league in scoring.
Gelo is a scoring machine who was never given a chance yet. Right now he is signed to OKC’s G League team so he is on track to play NBA minutes within 3 years.
Things are looking up for Gelo Ball, and he definitely has the skills to be better than Zion and lead the league in scoring.
