NBA Players to Play in Empty Stadiums with No Fans or Media Allowed Due to Coronavirus Threat.

NBA sent a memo to all NBA teams telling them they might have to play in Empty stadiums because of Coronavirus concerns. The games would be played with only essential staff present such as coaches, players, and medical staff. There would be no fans or media allowed at these games.

The closest thing we have seen to an empty arena at a basketball game, was Old Dominion and Western Kentucky, where only 100 people showed up because of a snowstorm.

Just yesterday news broke of an XFL employee possibly being infected with coronavirus while working at a game. Now we hear NBA thinking of playing private games in empty arenas, that would of otherwise been accessible to the public.

Please coronavirus, don’t take away the joy of going to NBA arenas too.
