On Wednesday in Denver, Colorado it was a beautiful warm 83 degree day. Only 18 hours later, it dropped from 83 to 13 degrees in 18 hours. That’s a 70 degrees drop, or roughly 3.9 degrees per hour. Denver is known for it’s frigid cold temperature, but a drastic drop like this was even unusual for the city.
According to news reports a local record was actually broken. It was reported to be the biggest temperature drop since 1872. One of the few days for Denver residents where summer clothes and deep winter clothes were needed. It was like nature playing April fools with the city Denver. Definitely a huge day in Denver history.
