Police officers arrested 40 year old Tupac Amaru Shakur after they were called to an address and found him trying to escape inside a car. He had multiple warrants out for his arrest. They confiscated a syringe and methamphetamine filled baggies from him.

At the moment he is in custody at Washington County Detention Center with bond set at $18,000. He is expected in court on Monday. He has the same name as the rapper, Tupac Amaru Shakur. Whether or not he had the name from birth, is not known. Story is still developing.
