Due to the way the Praying Mantis holds the Murder Hornet, its mandibles were useless as defense. It really looks like something out of a 1970’s horror movie.

When the Praying Mantis had devoured half of the Murder Hornets body, it’s stinger is still moving involuntarily trying hopelessly to sting it. It seems the Praying Mantis isn’t too fond of the Murder Hornet’s wings since they clipped both of them off in the process of eating.
