Were Donald Trump supporters kicked off a plane just for supporting Trump?
It seems unlikely, but according to a viral video this is what happened at an unnamed airport. The footage shows two women crying with several police officers surrounding them. The person recording the video claims that they were kicked off the flight after airplane personnel learned they were Trump supporters. No details were given on how people found out who they support politically.
If that really happened the next question would be is if that is legal? Take a look at the footage.
Based on the footage it seems more likely that there is more to this story than meets the eye. It just doesn’t seem plausible that two passengers who were respecting all flight rules were kicked off the plane just because of their political affiliation to Donald Trump.
If that is really what happened, than that airline just opened Pandora’s box. If you make it seem legal to kick Trump supporters off a flight, then you are also saying it’s legal to kick Joe Biden supporters off a flight.
Hopefully the video is misconstruing a more complex situation, because political affiliation should never be reason to kick rule abiding people off an airplane no matter how you feel about Donald Trump.
