Sopranos Star Drea de Matteo’s OnlyFans Leaks Go Viral After She Reveals Shocking Reason for Joining the Platform
Drea de Matteo, the Emmy-winning actress who played Adriana La Cerva on the hit HBO series The Sopranos, has recently made headlines for joining OnlyFans, a subscription-based website where creators leak exclusive content to their fans. In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Drea de Matteo revealed that she joined OnlyFans after losing acting jobs due to her stance against COVID-19 vaccine mandates in Hollywood. She claimed that her agent dropped her, and she almost lost her home because she refused to comply with the rules that required her to get vaccinated.
“I didn’t know this was going to have to be a change of life, you know, all of a sudden that during a time I’m supposed to be relaxing a little bit, that I would have to switch careers and figure new things out because my own industry thinks I’m a savage,” she said. “I guess you could say I was a bad girl because I did not follow the rules a couple of years ago. So, I don’t want to be at the mercy of mandates or strike or anything like that ever again.”
De Matteo, who also starred in Sons of Anarchy, Desperate Housewives, and Mayans M.C., said that she was never paid very much money for any of the roles she played and that she turned down many jobs in the past to be with her children. She said that joining OnlyFans was a way to provide for her family and that she did not care about the stigma or the criticism.
“I know some people have said some nasty things about me having joined OnlyFans,” she said. “But, you know, the way we see it in this house is mommy’s a warrior, not accepting defeat. I figured, ‘OK, so everybody’s in their underwear and being sexy on Instagram and I don’t do that, but I can do that and get paid for it.’ … I don’t know why I didn’t think of this sooner.”
She added, “I just don’t care. I don’t. I’d rather save my family than save face. Listen, for the people who think it’s something crazy. It’s not what you think it is. And for the people who think it’s something crazy, it’s exactly what you want it to be.”
The revelation that De Matteo’s leaks content OnlyFans has attracted a lot of attention from fans and curious observers alike. Some people praised her for doing what she had to do to have financial security, while others accused her of using her anti-vaccine stance as an excuse to justify her decision.
