This caused cause mass panic, which allegedly led to people getting trampled and suffocated. Due to the chaos 11 people went into cardiac arrest in the Astroworld crowd, and 8 of them died.

According to a new rumor allegedly from a TMZ source, a Terrorist injected people with drugs at Astroworld Festival, which caused the panic that made people start compressing inward as described above. FBI is allegedly trying to decipher if the Astroworld Festival crowd members who went into cardiac arrest was the result of the drug injected by the Terrorist.

Astroworld Festival Attendee Says He Heard People Screaming For Help Before and Saw a Woman Beating up a Kid
In the video below, you can hear one person who was at the Astroworld Festival say that he heard people screaming for help right before the chaos started. That may have been when the terrorist started injecting people with the unknown drug.
In his story he also revealed that a woman sitting in VIP beat up a 14 year old kid that jumped the VIP rail looking for safety.
