Only a few days after the tragic shooting in Colorado Springs, across the nation another mass shooting has taken place. According to reports police are on the scene at a Chesapeake Virginia Sam’s Circle Walmart after getting reports that a gunman opened fired around 10:12 pm. The story is still developing, but at the moment authorities have confirmed that at most 10 people have died including the suspect. According to former Fox News reporter Michelle Wolf one dead body was found outside the store.

Police have not confirmed the motive, or whether the gunman was a Walmart employee at the store. The situation is reportedly under control with the suspect dead, and police are now focusing on searching for victims. In most recent mass shootings an AR-15 style gun was used, but Chesapeake Police have not stated what type of weapon the shooter in this situation was armed with. During a press conference a spokesperson claimed that Police did not fire a weapon during the ordeal. They seemed to insinuate the shooting had already stopped before they arrived. That could indicate the mass shooter committed suicide, or was shot dead by someone in the store.
