Here is Why Pro Anti-Vaxxer Restaurant Basilico’s Pasta e Vino Requires Proof You Are Unvaccinated to Enter
As the social spar over the COVID-19 vaccine continues more and more public spaces are taking steps to make it known where they stand. In the most recent case a Huntington Beach pro Anti-vaxxer restaurant Basilico’s Pasta e Vino now requires proof you are unvaccinated to enter their business.
When you arrive their restaurant now you will be greeted with a sign that reads, “Notice Proof Of Being Unvaccinated Required”. Perhaps the most interesting part about the sign is the reason Basilico’s Pasta e Vino doesn’t allow people who are vaccinated to enter. In their message they wrote,
“we have zero tolerance for treasonous anti-American stupidity. Thank you for pondering”.
Perhaps this reasoning pertains to the belief some people have that requiring the COVID-19 vaccine violates some constitutional rights, and is endangering the general public since it’s still technically still in a trial phase and not approved by the FDA.
What is Required as Unvaccinated Proof at Basilico’s Pasta e Vino?
It’s not clear what kind of proof you would have to show, but maybe wearing a sticker like this would get you entry.
Basilico’s Pasta e Vino’s unvaccinated policy isn’t surprising, because this same restaurant went viral some months ago for requiring people to remove their masks to order food. It’s clear they aren’t afraid of losing business in the process of standing behind their personal beliefs.
