Research shows that the average Great White Shark jumps at most 10 feet out of water. This Great White Shark was able to eclipse that number by 5 feet. If you’re wondering how this is possible, it’s all about speed.
Great White Sharks reach speeds of more than 21 mph in order to propel themselves out of water. When a Shark breaches water it’s usually to attack a seal. In this case the Great White Shark jumped 15 feet high, and also had a decoy seal in it’s mouth while doing so.
