Recently a 17 year old student named Ethan Liming was murdered at Lebron James’ school, and there is mystery surrounding how it happened. Now Ethan Liming’s mother Cyndi is speaking out.

Mother of 17 Year Old Student Ethan Liming Murdered at Lebron James ‘I Promise’ School Speaks Out

According to reports Ethan Liming was beaten death on West Market Street in Akron Ohio, which is an area located at the basketball courts of Lebron James ‘I Promise’ school campus. Investigators believe that he was with a group of friends when an argument led to a deadly fight. At the moment there no reports of any arrests being made.

In response to the tragic situation Ethan Liming’s step mother Cyndi posted an emotional message on twitter asking anyone to come forward with information that could help solve the mystery of her step son’s murder. In the post she wrote, “If you didn’t know, my step son Ethan was brutally beaten to death at the I Promise School in Akron on June 2. Anyone with information is asked to call the Akron Police Department Detective Bureau at 330-375-2490 or the Summit County Crimestoppers at 330-434-COPS. Please share“.

Lebron James Family Foundation Responds to Ethan Liming Murder on ‘I Promise’ School Campus

Lebron James hasn’t spoken out directly about the situation, but his foundation left a heartfelt message on twitter about Ethan Liming’s death. It seemed their message was focused around ensuring parents that the ‘I Promise’ school campus is safe despite the murder.

In the series of posts the LeBron James Family Foundation wrote, “Our community is everything to us. We were devastated to learn of the overnight incident that saw a life lost near our school. We are grieving with our community over another senseless act of violence. Our ‘I Promise’ campus is safe and secure as we continue to do everything we can to support our students, families, and the entire Akron community“.

Despite the powerful message Lebron’s foundation left on social media it’s going to be very hard to convince parents that the ‘I Promise’ campus is truly safe after an incident like this was allowed to happen, and no arrests have been made.

Prayers up for Ethan Liming’s family. The pain they must be going through right now is unimaginable. 17 years old is way too young to go under any circumstances. Hopefully police can find the person who committed this heinous murder.
