These Three NBA Teams Banning Unvaccinated Players Could Make Kent Bazemore Miss Important Lakers Games
Vaccine mandates are now coming to the NBA, and three of the most popular teams in the NBA will allegedly ban unvaccinated players. According to a reports it’s alleged that New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, and Golden State Warriors are banning unvaccinated players from entering their arena this coming season. The would have huge ramifications in that it could cause Kent Bazemore to miss Lakers games.
How Many Players in the NBA are Unvaccinated?
With the news of NBA teams starting vaccine mandates, the question has arisen as to how many players in the NBA are vaccinated. On last check reports say 90% of NBA players are vaccinated, which means these new vaccine bans will only affect 10% of the league. Lakers Kent Bazemore is part of the unvaccinated 10%, unless something changed drastically over the past few months.
Not too long ago Kent Bazemore vowed against the COVID-19 vaccine, and see he would rather focus on strengthening his immune system naturally. Ironically he was playing for the Warriors at the time.
Next season two of Lakers biggest threats are the Brooklyn Nets and healthy Golden State Warriors. If they ban unvaccinated players Kent Bazemore would miss Lakers games against those juggernaut teams even in the playoffs and Finals. It would be like the Lakers didn’t sign him even though he’s on the roster.
There might be one loophole that would allow him to play in games against those teams. It’s rumored unvaccinated NBA players will be given the opportunity to apply for an exemption.
It’s going to be interesting to see how this plays out.
