Fetty Wap has officially had one of the worst fall offs in Hip-hop history. According to recent reports FEDS arrested Fetty Wap and 5 other people in Queens New York, and details show he might be in prison for a very long time.
Why Did FEDS Arrest Fetty Wap on RICO Charges?
William Junior Maxwell II aka Fetty Wap, and 5 other people are being charged with selling Fentanyl, Heroin, and illegal guns. Fetty Wap was arrested at Citi Field on Thursday. Fetty Wap was allegedly working with a correctional officer, and 4 others to distribute drugs across Long Island NY.
The 5 other individuals arrested along with Fetty Wap are Anthony Cyntje who was a New Jersey correctional officer, Anthony Leonardi, Robert Leonardi, Brian Sullivan, and Kavaughn Wiggins.
Did Correctional Officer Anthony Cyntje Snitch on Fetty Wap Before FED Arrested Him?
Back in June 2020 Anthony Cyntje was was charged with being part of another New York drug trafficking ring where FEDS found $1.5 Million cash, 16 kilograms of cocaine, 2 kilograms of heroin, and over 3,000 Oxycodone pills. Anthony Cyntje was charged with conspiracy and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Fetty Wap was not part of the case at the time, but that’s where things get a bit cloudy.
Despite those Federal charges, Anthony Cyntje who was 22 years old at the time was released from jail after being arraigned. Now about 1 year later FEDS arrested Anthony Cyntje again, but now they had a new evidence to charge Fetty Wap with selling Fentanyl and Heroin.
If you read between the lines, and also considering he was a correctional officer, it’s possible that Anthony Cyntje snitched on Fetty Wap, and was working with the FEDS to possibly get a lesser sentence.
Fetty Wap will reportedly stay behind bars until his trial date. How ironic is it that Fetty Wap got caught selling Fetty (Fentanyl)?
