Fully Vaccinated Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship Docks with COVID-19 Outbreak Among Fully Vaxxed Passengers on ‘Symphony of the Seas’

Royal Caribbean International cruises is in the midst of major controversy after a literally viral event occurred aboard one of their ships’ recent journeys. The situation has left people perplexed, because they did everything by the book in terms of what the powers that be say prevents COVID transmission. They used the same rules being enforced with Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates.

47 Fully Vaccinated Royal Caribbean Cruise Passengers Test Positive for COVID-19 in Massive ‘Symphony of the Seas’ COVID Outbreak among Fully Vaxxed Passengers

This situation started during the 6,091 passenger cruise line called “Symphony of the Seas”, one of the largest cruise vessels in the world. To be eligible to board a Royal Caribbean cruise ship every passenger older than 12 has to be double vaccinated, or have one shot of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. In addition every passenger 2 and older has to test negative for COVID-19 before entering the ship.

Seems like a fool proof plan since vaccines are allegedly the key to ending the COVID-19 pandemic, but what happened was a disaster, the virus rained on the parade anyway.

According to a report from Royal Caribbean International, at the end of the 7 day cruise 48 passengers tested positive for COVID-19. 98% of the cases were in fully vaccinated people. Contact tracing methods were used to discover other passengers who may be infected, before testing them to confirm. During the 7 day cruise the vessel stopped in St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and at private a Island.

According to Miami Herald one of the passengers developed severe symptoms, and needed oxygen. The woman was said to be the aunt of man named James Johnson, which means she was in the age group that had to be vaccinated, and test negative before boarding the ship. All other passengers were allegedly mild symptom cases. The ship is currently docked in Cozumel, Mexico as CDC conducts investigations.

This was an outbreak amongst fully vaccinated people on a ship that was thought to be COVID free when it departed. The situation has some similarities to how many fully vaxxed sports teams are having COVID outbreaks, at seemingly higher rates than before players were widely vaccinated.

If you think of the Royal Caribbean ‘Symphony of the Seas’ COVID outbreak like a workplace where everyone is vaccinated, it makes you wonder about the reasoning behind vaccine mandates. It seems like nothing stops COVID-19 from spreading, and policy makers don’t want to admit it just yet.
