Here Is The Reason Why Delaware Man Tourist Tariq Quadir Loat Was Shot Killed and Burned in Puerto Rico After Buying Drugs
The story of a tourist killed in Puerto Rico after a drug deal is too tragic. A 24 year old Delaware man named Tariq Quadir Loat was shot, killed, and burned after buying drugs in Puerto Rico during vacation. Police reports state the incident happened in a San Juan neighborhood. The reason Tariq Quadir Loat was murdered had nothing do with the drugs he bought, but what he did after he acquired the drugs.
Why Was Tariq Quadir Loat Murdered by San Juan Neighborhood Goons in Puerto Rico?
According to reports the men who sold Tariq Quadir Loat drugs instructed him not to take any pictures while they were still the La Perla area. Since him and his friend were on vacation they decided to take pictures anyway to preserve memories. When the drug dealers saw them taking pictures Tariq Quadir Loat was beaten, shot, killed, and burned. His friend somehow managed to escape the situation with minor injuries.
As you can see in the pictures below the La Perla is a beautiful city, so it makes sense why Tariq Quadir Loat was so intent on taking pictures despite the warning the drug dealers gave him.

Tariq Quadir Loat was reported missing, but a few days later his burned body was found in Vega Baja, which is located about 30 miles from the San Juan neighborhood where he was killed. Police confirmed it was his body by using his fingerprints.
At the moment the Tariq Quadir Loat’s murderers have not been arrested, and police have no leads on who the suspects might be.
Police have since urged tourists in Puerto Rico to follow the law, so they don’t end up in dangerous situations.
It’s so sad that taking a picture on vacation led to Tariq Quadir Loat getting murdered.
RIP to the young man.
