Jeannie Mai and Young Jeezy are still going strong, but she and her ex-husband Freddy Harteis continue to shoot strays at each other that are super disrespectful. On a recent episode of the Shan Boody podcast, Jeannie Mai really dug into her ex-husband’s ego while praising Jeezy for changing her life.

When Jeannie Mai was married to Freddy Harteis, she was adamantly against having kids. Fast forward to 2021, and she is now expecting a baby with Young Jeezy. In the past Freddy Harteis reacted to Jeannie Mai’s pregnancy by dissing her by saying he “upgraded from trash”. Now she’s firing back with her own words of insults about his character.
During the Shan Boody Podcast interview, Jeannie Mai revealed that the one major change in her life that reshaped her vision of being mom was the quality of the man she was with. She basically said Freddy Harteis isn’t a real man by saying,
“I Didn’t Respect My Ex-Husband He Wasn’t My Equal. Jeezy Is My Equal, He Checked, Changed Me, and Gave Me A Baby”.
