Joe Montana may be retired from the NFL, but his wife’s strength may have saved their 9 month old grandchild from being kidnapped. According to a new report, a woman named Sodsai Dalzell tried to kidnap Joe Montana’s grandchild from their home.
It was Joe Montana’s wife fighting the kidnapper that ultimately ended the scary situation.

A police statement says the woman entered Joe Montana’s Malibu home, then snuck into the room where his grandchild was sleeping in playpen and grabbed the child. When she tried leaving the house she was confronted by Joe Montana and his Wife who alerted the Police.
When efforts to deescalate the situation failed, Joe Montana’s wife fought the woman and took their grandchild from her arms. At that point the kidnapper fled their home.
Police where able to find the suspect a few hours later, and charged Sodsai Dalzell with kidnapping and burglary.
The investigation is still ongoing, but this seems like one of those situations where there has to be more to the story.
