COVID-19 Tracking App Conspiracy Theory
The new COVID-19 tracking app conspiracy theory is making circles amongst theorists. Remember that alleged DDos attack and cell phone networks going down a few days ago? It appears on that same day a COVID-19 tracking app was installed on all Android and iPhone devices, unbeknownst to their owners.
You can see the COVID-19 tracking app by going to settings then tapping “privacy and health” if you’re on an iPhone.
On an android you can go to settings and select “Google” from the menu to see the COVID-19 tracking app.

A lot of people will ask how did that get there? That is the basis of the COVID-19 Tracking App Conspiracy theory. The idea is that some kind of new surveillance technology was installed, which needed networks around the US to shutdown due to the sheer amount of cellphones it was installed on. Once the coronavirus tracking app was installed on all Iphones and Androids everything went back to normal, according to the conspiracy theory.
Whether there is any truth to this conspiracy theory we may never know, but the covid-19 tracking app is definitely on cellphones now, and a lot of people have no idea how it was installed without them knowing.
