People are saying Nicki Minaj is an anti-vaxxer after she posted a controversial tweet about an experience with the COVID-19 vaccine. However, she didn’t encourage anyone not to take the vaccine, rather she was warning people to not be bullied into the decision.

In her message Nicki Minaj revealed that her cousin’s friend became impotent with swollen testicles after taking the COVID-19 vaccine. Due to his health condition his girlfriend called off their wedding, since he can longer have children. She told people to make sure they are comfortable with their decision to take the COVID vaccine, and not be bullied into it as Joe Biden and other politicians are trying to do.

In her full statement Nicki Minaj said,

“My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine, because his friend got it and became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it, and make sure you’re comfortable with your decision, not bullied.”

Can COVID-19 Vaccine Cause Swollen Testicles and Impotency?

There doesn’t seem to be any reports of COVID-19 causing swollen testicles before Nicki Minaj revealed her cousin’s story, but maybe it’s a new side effect. Every day you hear people talking about different unexpected side effects they have experienced from taking it. The vaccine is still in clinical trials, so in theory every side effect isn’t 100% known yet. For example for some time doctors couldn’t explain why the vaccine was causing blood clots in certain people.

In terms of his impotency, in theory that could be related to how vaccine causes causes blood clots in rare cases. Maybe blood flow to his groin region has been restricted by some clotting.

Of course it’s also possible that his condition is not related to the vaccine, and a huge coincidence.

It doesn’t seem like Nicki Minaj is an anti-vaxxer, but she is pro-choice. Her advice seems fair in the sense that she conveyed that people should only be taking the COVID-19 vaccine if they feel comfortable with injecting the substance in their body. It doesn’t seem right for people to feel forced, or be forced to inject something with no wide scale long term studies into their body, so it’s easy to understand her sentiment there.

Prayers up for Nicki Minaj cousin’s friend. If her story is actually true then COVID-19 vaccine has robbed him of the ability to have children, and his marriage.
