NYPD cops are in a standoff with George Floyd protesters on Manhattan bridge in New York. After letting protesters know curfew started at 8pm, a viral video showed over 100 NYPD cops in riot where waiting at Manhattan bridge ready to stop any protester that tried to pass.
Although the NYPD brought the George Floyd march to a halt, the standoff has been peaceful so far according to reports. Videos showed protesters taking a knee on the bridge to send a powerful message.
Hopefully the standoff remains peaceful until it’s over. Too many unexpected incidents have happened lately from situations that started peaceful.
