A video of a Mississippi man committing suicide is taking over TikTok, and now TikTok his sending out mass ban warnings. According to reports, TikTok is frantically using automated algorithms to ban anyone that uploads the video. However, they have issues with people creating endless new accounts just to reupload the suicide video. Some TikTok users are even inserting the suicide video into other videos to trick people into watching it, while evading detection of TikTok’s ban algorithm.
The suicide video first appeared on Facebook Live, before making it’s way TikTok.

If you’re watching a video on TikTok of cats doing funny things for example, beware that it could change to a video of a man committing suicide at any moment.
Make sure to be careful about what TikTok videos you share, until they can find a way to fully remove that suicide video from TikTok.
