Are Ravens Waging War Against Google? Viral Video Shows Raven Attacking Google Drone Delivering Coffee in Canberra Australia
People who live in Canberra, Australia have the extraordinary ability to have goods delivered straight to their home by a Google drone. The service called “Wing” was launched in 2019, and delivers many small products including medical supplies and coffee. However, the future of the “Wing” service is now in jeopardy, because it appears Ravens are waging war against Google Drones.
Raven Attacks Google Drone Delivering Coffee in Canberra Australia
A perfect example of how Bird attacks have disrupted the “Wing” service is a recent viral video of a Raven attacking a Google drone delivering coffee in Canberra. The footage shows the Raven grabbing the wing of the Google Drone forcing it to drop the coffee in the middle of a road. Ravens are very intelligent creatures, so maybe it just wanted some coffee.
Here is how the Google drone coffee delivery is supposed to go when Ravens don’t get involved.
Google has paused its “Wing” service, due to the uptick of Raven bird attacks. This comes at a time when the demand for the service was at an all time high. Australia has seemingly turned into a police state with ridiculously restrictive lockdown policies due to COVID-19, so home delivery services such as “Wing” are very important to Canberra residents.
Who would have guessed that Ravens would win a war against Google, one of the biggest tech giants on Earth.
