How a Mom of 4 Named Delrie Rosario Died in a Freak Treadmill Accident at LA Fitness

A Kent family is mourning the loss of their beloved mother and wife, Delrie Rosario, who died in a freak accident at an LA Fitness gym on Monday. Rosario, 36, was a mother of four children, ranging from 3 to 18 years old. She was also a nurse and a devoted Christian who loved to help others.

How Did Delrie Rosario Die While Using a Treadmill at LA Fitness?

According to reports, Rosario was working out on a treadmill at the LA Fitness in Kent when she suddenly fell off and hit her head on a metal railing. She was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The cause of her fall is still unknown, but her sister Marissa Woods suspects said she either fell after missing a step while trying to slow the treadmill, or collapsed. “She tried to slow the machine down. I thought maybe she just missed a step. She just collapsed, hit her head on the machine” Woods’ sister said in a public statement.

Rosario’s family has set up a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses and other needs. They said they plan to honor their mother’s memory by living according to her values and faith. The GoFundMe post has raised almost $20,000 as of this writing. Her family described her as a hard working woman who was working two jobs to provide for her kids.

In the post organized by Noelle Meluskey was a messaging saying, “Yesterday Heaven gained an Angel and we sadly lost a great Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Delrie was an Angel walking amongst us here on earth and tragically her time was cut short with us here. Among the many incredible qualities she possessed, being an amazing Mother was top of the list. Heartbreakingly she has left behind four beautiful children”.

It continues saying, “She has been the main provider for these babies for a while now, working two jobs to make sure they have whatever they want and need. On behalf of the family, I am setting up this Go Fund Me to help provide financial support for her children: Delaino, Rickey, Ric’Kae and Delaiah and to ensure they are taken care of for their futures, Please help me, even in grief to make sure that these beautiful children have a positive life. Thank you”.
