New Mosquito Borne EEE Virus 400 Times More Deadly Than the Flu and Coronavirus Emerges in Northeast

A new mosquito borne EEE virus 400 times more deadly than the flu and coronavirus has emerged in the northeast. The Eastern Equine Encephalitis Virus has a mortality rate of close to 50%. That’s almost 50 times higher than COVID-19 mortality rate. People who beat the Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus doesn’t fare well either.

Reports that most survivors of the EEE virus suffer severe brain and nerve damage. In essence Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus is like what would happen if the coronavirus and flu took steroids then made a virus baby.
The EEE virus is believed to have evolved within mosquitoes when temperatures around the globe started to rise steadily in the early 1980s. With more warm areas around the globe mosquitoes where able to travel further and still be in ideal climates.
Now the EEE virus has allegedly emerged on the Northeast. The horror story that is 2020 just continues adding new chapters. Hopefully mosquito repellent doesn’t become the new facemask.
