Nikki Haley is demanding Joe Biden take down a video accusing Trump of calling dead WWI US troops “losers” and “suckers”. A few days ago a rumor caught fire that Donald Trump called WWI soldiers killed during battle “Losers” and “Suckers”. Donald Trump adamantly denied the rumor, and called for the Fox News reporter who allegedly started the rumor to be fired.

Joe Biden did what any candidate running against Trump would do, and used the information to his advantage. He posted a video displaying Donald Trump’s alleged comments disrespecting US Soldiers with the caption, “Mr. President, if you don’t respect our troops, you can’t lead them”.

When the video went viral Nikki Haley responded to Joe Biden saying, “take this down. All of us who worked with Donald Trump witnessed the tremendous amount of love and respect he has for our military. He was determined to protect them. We had many conversations in NSC meetings about protecting them”. Trump definitely has a track record of praising the Military in public, but could he have a different sentiment behind closed doors?

Right now it’s the epitome of political warfare gossip, a game of “he say she say”. No one on the outside looking in knows the real truth behind the claim that Donald Trump called dead US soldiers “losers”, but Nikki Haley seems to really feel he didn’t. She has disparaged Trump in the past, so there’s a slight chance she isn’t being biased.

All in all, it’s not looking good for Trump. Whether the rumor is true or not, it’s way too close to election day to have your name intertwined in disrespecting dead US soldiers.
