Rickey Smiley’s daughter Aaryn was shot 5 times during a road rage incident in Houston Texas. The star comedian made the announcement in an emotional Facebook Live video where he was crying heavily. During his message to concerned fans he said,
“The reason I’m on Facebook Live is so you can see that it’s raw and it’s real. I want you to see what parents have go through when their children are victims of gun violence.”

Here is the crazy part about this story. When Rickey Smiley’s daughter got shot, she wasn’t even the target. Ricky Smiley’s daughter was actually caught in the crossfire of shooters aiming at someone else when she stopped at a stop light. In essence it was case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Now here’s the good thing about this story. Rickey Smiley has made another announcement that his daughter’s emergency surgery was successful and she is expected to survive.
Pray for Ricky Smiley and his daughter Aaryn through this tough time.
