Shaq’s NHL knowledge was put to the test on Inside the NBA, and the results were hilarious. Shaq admitted that he doesn’t know anything about the NHL, but he was still put on the spot to answer a tough question for a casual NHL fan.
The Co-host asked Shaq to name three NHL teams. He named the New Jersey Devils and Chicago Blackhawks, but messed up on the team from the city he won 3 championships with. Shaq called the LA Kings, the “California Kings”. He got a tiny bit sensitive when they called him out for it.

NHL is a sport that’s way more popular in Canada than in the United States, so it’s no surprise Shaq doesn’t know much about it.
NHL’s low popularity in America is a bit surprising considering it’s almost as action packed as an NFL game in some cases.
