According to KPIX news, a foreign exchange student managed to break into Curry’s house by simply pressing random buttons on his front gate keypad, and it actually opened like a real life movie. The student then allegedly walked right through the front door of his house which wasn’t locked. He came face to face with the Curry’s nanny, who was able to scare the intruder off. Luckily, Curry and his wife Ayesha were not home at the time of the incident.
The foreign exchange student, whose name and nationality have not been disclosed, allegedly broke into Curry’s home because he really wanted an autograph from the basketball legend. Police have issued an arrest warrant for the student, who is facing charges of trespassing and burglary. The nanny who was brave enough to fend off the intruder reportedly wasn’t harmed during the incident.
The incident has raised questions about the security system of Curry’s home, which is valued at $31 million. People on social media are shocked at how lax Curry’s security is, considering a random person was able to enter his house by pressing random buttons at the front gate.
