Is Chance Comanche Facing RICO Charges? Details About FBI Arresting G-League Star Player from Stockton Kings

The arrest of a G League basketball player by the FBI has stunned social media users, who are wondering what he could have done to warrant such a serious intervention. Chance Comanche, a former University of Arizona standout, was taken into custody on Friday as a person of interest in an out-of-state FBI investigation.

Why Did FBI Arrest G-League Player Chance Comanche, and is He Facing RICO Charges?

Comanche, 27, was released by the Stockton Kings, the G League affiliate of the NBA’s Sacramento Kings, following his arrest. He is being held without bail at the Sacramento County Main Jail, where he is scheduled to appear before a judge on Tuesday. He faces felony charges in another state, but the details of his alleged crimes have not been disclosed.

Many people on social media are speculating that Chance Comanche is facing RICO charges, but there is no proof of that at the moment, besides the fact the FEDS are involved.

According to several reports, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said it assisted FBI agents in arresting Comanche, but referred all questions to the federal agency.

Comanche had a promising basketball career that started at Beverly Hills High School and continued at Arizona, where he played in 60 games from 2015-17.

He went undrafted in 2017, but bounced around various professional leagues, including the G League’s Memphis Hustle and Canton Charge, the Basketball League’s Enid Outlaws and Yeni Mamak Spor of the Turkish Basketball First League.

Comanche made his NBA debut with the Portland Trail Blazers last season, playing against the Golden State Warriors on April 9. He signed with the Sacramento Kings on Oct. 2, but was waived shortly after. He then joined the Stockton Kings in November 2022.
