People are Calling Out AEW Signing Accused Racist Tessa Blanchard Because They Banned Linda Hogan For Being Racist
Once upon a time AEW claimed they would never hire any person that had racist allegations against them. For example they banned Linda Hogan for making racist comments about looters back in May 2020. However, their policies against hiring people with racist allegations must have changed, because reports state AEW is signing Tessa Blanchard.
The Racist Allegations Facing Tessa Blanchard
In January 2020 Allysin Kay alleged that Tessa Blanchard spit in the face of black woman. She claimed Tessa Blanchard said the N word while doing so. The incident allegedly happened in Japan.
Take a look at the tweet below.

Here is what Linda Hogan did to get banned from AEW.

The only key difference between the two situations is the concrete evidence in the racist allegations against Linda Hogan, since it happened on twitter. In comparison the only evidence supporting Tessa Blanchard’s racist allegations is the word of mouth. Perhaps that was loophole that made AEW make the controversial and risky move of hiring her.
