NBA 2k Fortnite? NBA 2K has been doing strange things over the years with a seemingly clear goal of making the most money they can off gamers, but with their newest change gamers have had enough. People are now accusing NBA 2K of becoming Fortnite with the new NBA 2k22 Battle Pass like system called “Seasons”.
What are “Seasons” in NBA 2k22?
Similar to the Battle Pass system in Fornite, Seasons in NBA 2K22 is where you can get certain rewards only when you play within a predetermined amount time. Recent reports state that ‘Seasons’ in NBA 2k22 will be around 6 weeks.
Essentially this means you won’t have access to all the content that should be available from the get go through the regular grind. Instead every 6 weeks new content will be added, and during each 6 week time period there will be a limited of new content you can get.
If you miss out on the content available within a certain 6 week period, you might not be able to access it again, or so it seems.
NBA 2K21 was by far the worst NBA 2K game ever made, so even with this strange change to how you can acquire new animations and clothing it shouldn’t be hard for 2K22 to be better game than its predecessor.
How do you feel about the NBA 2K22 Battle pass system called “Seasons”?
Have they really gone the Fortnite route?
