Kevin Durant Disses Russell Westbrook While Naming the Top 5 Players He’s Ever Played With on Gillie Da Kid Podcast
Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook had a magnificent run together that ended when KD choked away a 3-1 lead vs Golden State. He then left OKC for the Warriors without even telling Westbrook. The hate between them must still run deep, because Kevin Durant dissed Russell Westbrook on Gillie Da Kid’s Podcast with some unbelievable comments.
Kevin Durant Says Serge Ibaka is Better than Russell Westbrook
The disrespect began when Gillie Da Kid asked Kevin Durant who the top 5 players he has ever played with are. Naturally you would expect Russell Westbrook would be one of his top choices, but no no. Kevin Durant named James Harden, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kyrie Irving, and Serge Ibaka. That’s right Kevin Durant thinks Serge Ibaka is better than Russell Westbrook.
It’s hard to believe he actually said this, but take a listen for yourself.
It’s really sad that Kevin Durant would disrespect Russell Westbrook like that. The guy that helped him reach the finals for first time in his career. There’s literally no way Serge Ibaka is better than Westbrook, unless you are being extra petty.
Maybe he’s mad about what Westbrook did to the Nets earlier this season.
It will be interesting to see how Westbrook responds to these ludicrous comments from Kevin Durant.
Let’s hope and pray that a miracle happens and Wizards make the playoffs and face Nets first round, that would be classic.
