Facebook Announced Instagram Lite, which is rolling out in 170 countries to take advantage of emerging markets, but critics of Mark Zuckerberg aren’t feeling it. On social media people reacted by posting memes trying to explain the difference between Instagram Lite vs Instagram stealing people’s data.
At the moment it’s not really clear what the major differences will be with Instagram Lite, but one thing for sure is that people still feel their privacy will be invaded. The accusations against Facebook’s privacy practices are clearly still haunting them.

Even the name “Instagram Lite” isn’t going to win over people who aren’t happy about Facebooks shady practices of mining people’s data. Remember Instagram is one of the few social media platforms that will ban people for not providing their phone number.
