Police Find Dead Body of 5 Year Old Ziyon Butler After He Went Missing During Family Picnic

Sacramento Police found the dead body of 5 Year Old Ziyon Butler who went missing during a family picnic in Tiscornia Beach on Monday. Reports say the body of the 5 year old boy was found floating in American River close to where he was first reported missing. It reportedly still has not been determined by Sacramento County Coroner’s Office if drowning was the cause of the death.


On Monday, Ziyon Butler was reported missing in the early evening hours. Multiple reports say the family stated they saw him eating food, then the next time they looked he had just vanished. Police officers reportedly spent countless hours searching high and low for the missing 5 year old in the large Tiscornia Beach area. The worst scenario of the situation became a reality when they found his dead body today.
