Year 17 Lebron James Leads Third Different Franchise to the NBA Finals after Lakers Defeat Nuggets in Game 5 on his Historical Triple Double
The Lakers are back in the finals for the first time since 2010, and it’s because of Year 17 Lebron’s triple double performance. Lebron James has now led three different franchises to the NBA Finals after Lakers defeated Nuggets in Game 5.
Lebron James 38 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists lifted the Lakers in a tough game where Denver closed an early large lead making it a close game. After Jamal Murray injured his knee it looked over for the Nuggets, but they just kept coming.
No one was stopping Year 17 Lebron on this night though.

Lebron James became the only other Lakers besides James Worthy to have at least 30 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists in a playoffs game. Lebron has now been to the finals 10 times with his third different franchise. It’s clear he’s still a walking finals run.
Lebron James is now the undisputed GOAT in some fans eyes. The moment where Lebron James said And-1 to Nikola Jokic in Mid air before making the basket says it all.
Shout out to the Nuggets for the legendary playoffs run, they just got caught in the line of fire of a GOAT on a mission.
