Why are Knicks Fans Angry About the OG Anunoby Trade?
Anunoby is a solid two-way player who can defend and score. He is also under contract for a few more years, making him a long-term piece for the Knicks. However, many Knicks fans feel that the team gave up too much for a role player who is not a superstar.
Quickley was one of the most promising young players on the Knicks, who had a knack for scoring off the bench. He was also eligible for an extension this offseason.
Barrett was the third overall pick in the 2019 draft, but he never lived up to the hype in New York. He had trouble with his shooting and consistency. Many Knicks fans were happy to see him go, as they felt he was holding back the team’s progress.
The Knicks also surrendered several future first-round picks, which could be valuable assets in a potential trade for a superstar. The Knicks have been linked to several star guards, but they have failed to pull off a blockbuster deal. The Knicks have not had an All-Star guard since Carmelo Anthony.

The video has gone viral, with many views and comments. Many other Knicks fans agreed with Quis, saying that the trade was a “robbery” by the Raptors, a “slap in the face” to the fans, and a “waste of time” for the Knicks. Some fans even called for the firing of the Knicks general manager, Scott Perry, and the owner, James Dolan. Not sure if an owner can fire himself though.

The Knicks are currently struggling to be a top team Eastern Conference, but have remain a formidable team in terms of making the playoffs. Still yet Knicks fans are left wondering why their prayers are never answered, and why their team always makes the wrong moves.
