The main event of Bellator 299 ended with a heated exchange between two UFC and Bellator champions, as Leon Edwards rushed into the ring to defend his brother Fabian Edwards from Johnny Eblen’s taunts.

Johnny Eblen, the Bellator middleweight champion, successfully defended his title against Fabian Edwards, the younger brother of UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards, with a brutal third-round knockout. Eblen dropped Edwards with a right hand and followed up with a barrage of elbows and punches that forced the referee to stop the fight at 0:21 of the third round.

However, Eblen did not stop there. He continued to yell and gesture at the fallen Edwards, who was still recovering from the knockout. This prompted Leon Edwards, who was in his brother’s corner, to jump into the ring and try to fight Eblen. The two champions exchanged words, and had to be separated by security and officials.
