Kendrick Perkins Talks About Rajon Rondo Fighting Ray Allen in Celtics Weight Room on All the Smoke Podcast
The tumultuous relationship between Playoff Rondo and Ray Allen just got some new interesting details. On a recent episode of All The Smoke podcast, Kendrick Perkins talked about Rajon Rondo fighting Ray Allen in the Celtics weight room.
Kendrick Perkins said the beef all started when Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce wanted to hand Rondo the keys to run their offense full time, but Ray Allen wasn’t with it. To settle their difference they setup a boxing match between them in the weight room. It all ended with Rajon Rondo beating up Ray Allen badly, at least according to what Perkins is saying.

As with any boxing match we should go over the vital stats of the two fighters in question. Ray Allen is 6’5″ and 205 lbs, while Rajon Rondo is 6’1″ and weighs 185 lbs. Ray has the height advantage, but in boxing that is a disadvantage most of the time. The 20 lbs weight difference didn’t help him either.
