Shirtless Rajon Rondo Becomes First Player in NBA History to Win Championship with Lakers and Celtics
When the clock struck zero and buzzed sounded officially making Lakers champions, a shirtless Rajon Rondo became the first player in NBA history accomplish something in LA and Boston. Shirtless Rajon Rondo is the only player in NBA history to win a championship with Lakers and Celtics.
The biggest rivalry ever in sports between two franchises, now as something forever in common. It’s almost a like a basketball love story between franchises. Rajon Rondo is a part of Celtics and Lakers championship history, something no other player past or present can say.
After his historical game a shirtless Rajon Rondo conveyed how his Lakers ring meant more than his ring with Boston, because of how his tenure ended there. The stories of a feud Rajon Rondo had with Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, and Paul Pierce was widely covered. Now they watched Rajon Rondo become the first player to win a championship with LA and Boston. This could potentially validate his alleged argument that Celtics was really his team, and he led them to championship.
Not only is Rajon Rondo the first player in NBA history to win a championship with LA and Boston, he also has one more ring than Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. Two players that did everything they could to win a ring at the end of their careers and failed.
Rajon Rondo is a Lakers and Celtics legend now. Rajon is the first NBA player that can flash championship rings from Lakers and Celtics.
