Lakers Fans Smash Police Cars at Staple Center Celebrating After Lakers Win 2020 NBA Championship
When Lakers won 2020 NBA Finals it was a given that the city would celebrate like never before. Lakers fans smashed police cars in front of Staples Center while celebrating on Figueroa Street after Lakers won the 2020 NBA Championship. A viral video shows Lakers fans trashing police cars at Staples Center by kicking the windows and throwing objects.
The police car can be seen backing up hastily as the large group of Lakers fans continued destroying police cars.
In footage you can see one Laker fan throw a bike at police car missing it by inches. The strength it takes to do something like that is unreal. More proof that after years of not winning championships it seems nothing is going to stop Lakers fan from celebrating the way they want to.
When you have Lakers fans smashing police cars at Staples Center, you know things are back to normal for the Lakers in basketball sense. LA has always been known for crazy celebrations during Lakers championship years. Hopefully the celebrations can continue without anyone getting hurt.
