Lil Wayne is one of the most influential and successful rappers of all time, but some people seem to think that his career has gone downhill. A video showing him performing at The Fillmore in Minneapolis has sparked a wave of jokes and memes on social media, mocking him for being in a small venue.

The video, which was posted by a fan on Twitter, shows Lil Wayne rapping on stage in front of a small crowd that looked to be around two thousand people. The venue had a max capacity of 1,850. The fan captioned the video with “Lil Wayne Carter Tour Day 1”, but many others did not share his enthusiasm. Some commented that the auditorium looked like a high school gym, a church hall, or a bingo night. Others compared Lil Wayne’s performance to his former glory days, when he would sell out arenas and stadiums.

However, those who are judging Lil Wayne based on the size of the venue may not be taking into account how much the ticket prices are. According to Ticketmaster, the tickets for Lil Wayne’s show at The Fillmore ranged from $75 to $125, which is not cheap for a rap concert. Moreover, Lil Wayne is not the only rapper who has performed at The Fillmore, which is a historic and prestigious venue that has hosted legends like Prince, Bob Dylan, and James Brown.

Lil Wayne has not responded to the online mockery, but he probably does not care much about it. He is still making music and money, and he has loyal fans who support him no matter what. He also has a lucrative deal with Young Money Entertainment, which he founded and owns. He has signed and mentored some of the biggest names in rap today, such as Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tyga. He also has one of the greatest discography’s ever.

Lil Wayne may not be as popular or relevant as he once was, but he is still a legend in the rap game. He has nothing to prove to anyone, and he can perform wherever he wants. He may not be filling up stadiums anymore, but he is still filling up his bank account.
