Memphis rapper Duke Deuce is known for his energetic and crunk-inspired music, but he also proved that he can handle himself in a wrestling ring. During his performance at Rolling Loud, a fan ran on stage and tried to interrupt his set. Duke Deuce reacted quickly and delivered a Dudley Boyz 3-D Dudley Death Drop finishing move on the intruder, sending him crashing to the floor.
The incident was captured on video and went viral on social media, earning praise from both hip-hop and WWE fans. The 3-D Dudley Death Drop is a signature move of the legendary tag team The Dudley Boyz, who dominated the WWE scene in the late 90s and early 2000s. The move involves one wrestler lifting an opponent into a flapjack position while another wrestler performs a cutter on them.
Duke Deuce is one of the rising stars of Memphis rap, following in the footsteps of legends like Three 6 Mafia, 8Ball & MJG, and Yo Gotti. He released his debut album Crunk Ain’t Dead in 2020, which featured hits like “Crunk Ain’t Dead” and “Yeh”. He followed up with his sophomore album Duke Nukem earlier this year, which included collaborations with Rae Sremmurd, Offset, Lil Yachty, A$AP Ferg, and more.
He also teamed up with Rae Sremmurd and producer Honorable C.N.O.T.E. for Rolling Loud’s debut single “Finger Food”, which dropped last week. Rolling Loud is not only the most popular hip-hop festival in the country, but it’s also launching its own record label with plans to release more music from some of rap’s biggest stars.
Duke Deuce is set to perform at more Rolling Loud events next year, as well as other festivals and shows across the country. Fans can expect more crunk anthems, energetic performances, and maybe even some more WWE moves from him.
