A video showing NBA legend Michael Jordan breaking up a fight between hip-hop manager Wack 100 and social media personality Charleston White is going viral on the internet. The video shows Charleston White and Wack 100 exchanging heated words, and getting ready to throw punches while surrounded by a large crowd of people.
However, before things could escalate further, Michael Jordan appears out of nowhere and steps in between them, trying to calm them down and prevent a brawl.
Being the legend that he is, his presence creates an aura that lets everyone know someone special in the area. Naturally, with that type of aura between them, the situation deescalated quickly. No one wanted to mistakenly hit Jordan.
When and Where Was the Footage of Michael Jordan Breaking Up the Fight Between Wack 100 and Charleston White Taken?
The incident actually took place in 2015, during the highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas. Based on reports at the time, Charleston White and Wack 100 had a beef over some comments that White made about Wack’s friend and client, rapper The Game.
White had accused The Game of being a fake gangster and a snitch, and Wack 100 allegedly confronted him about it at the MGM Grand Hotel, where the fight was held.
The video is going viral now, because most people never knew that this incident happened, or that Michael Jordan was allegedly involved in it. Many fans are praising Jordan for his peacemaking skills, and his ability to diffuse a tense situation.
Some are also joking that Jordan was trying to recruit Wack 100 and Charleston White for his basketball team, the Charlotte Hornets.
Others are wondering how Jordan managed to be in the right place at the right time, or if the footage is being taken out of context. Either way he comes up clutch on and off the court it seems.
