Gunna shook up social media when he posted Young Thug’s QR code on Instagram. A QR code (short for “quick response” code) is a type of barcode that can be read easily by a digital device and which stores information as a series of pixels in a square-shaped grid. QR codes are frequently used to track information about products in a supply chain and often used in marketing and advertising campaigns.
Unlike traditional barcodes, which only store data in one dimension, QR codes can store data in both horizontal and vertical directions. This allows them to encode much more information than barcodes, such as URLs, text, images, or even cryptocurrency wallet addresses. QR codes also have error correction features that make them more robust and reliable than barcodes. Gunna posting Young Thug’s QR code has social media spinning, because most people believe that Gunna is the reason he is currently locked up.
