Louisville Kentucky just passed “Breonna Law” banning no-knock search warrants. Louisville City council voted for the ban on no-knock warrants after an EMT named Breonna was shot to death in a botched raid where police entered the wrong house.

On the day police entered Breonna’s house, she was watching TV while her kid was sleeping in the other room. Breonna thought the police where intruder when they shot her over 8 times. The Police officers later realized that where in the wrong house.
If No-knock warrants where banned at the time Breonna would still be alive today. Louisville, KY is making sure another tragedy like that never happens by banning no-knock search warrants under “Breonna’s Law”.
